Arts Capital Fund
The $5.5million Arts Capital Fund is designed to enhance how Western Australians experience arts and culture through improvements to community run theatres and some of WA's leading arts venues.
The Fund will assist with purchasing equipment and facilities upgrades and will provide the opportunity for arts organisations to apply for one-off grants to build and improve existing projects and venues.
Key arts organisations that will benefit in the first and second years of the four year commitment from the Arts Capital Fund include:
- Artrage
- Perth Institute of Contemporary Art
- Film and Television Institute
- Spare Parts Puppet Theatre
- Artsource
- Artshouse
- Magabala Books Aboriginal Corporation
- DADAA (Disability in the Arts, Disadvantaged in the Arts Australia).
In the third and fourth years an Expression of Interest process will be announced.
