Indigenous Arts

Indigenous Australian culture within Western Australia is uniquely varied due to the size and remoteness of the state.  The Department of Culture and the Arts recognises and values the incredible talent of Indigenous artists and acknowledges the depth and diversity of Indigenous cultures.  By working together, we all make an important contribution to maintaining and further developing Indigenous contemporary culture. 

The Department of Culture and the Arts supports a variety of programs designed to develop and support Indigenous artists and arts workers in Western Australia.
