Excellence in Arts Enterprise
For a Western Australian arts/cultural individual or organisation which/who has undertaken a project requiring boldness or energy to create and/or been linked to an external sector not traditionally linked to arts and culture.
Excellence in Arts Management
For a person or organisation in the Western Australian arts/cultural sector who/which has, through exceptional management principles, sound leadership, advocacy, practice and example, instigated a partnership with an external organisation or their community; demonstrating vision, commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
Information Supplied in Nominations
The Department of Culture and the Arts (DCA) requires all nominees to verify that the information contained in the nomination is true and correct to the best of their knowledge at the time of submission. Where required DCA clarifies and checks the veracity of information with nominees as part of the 'initial assessment' process, or at the request of any of the Awards judges, during the Awards judging process. On occasion we would also seek information from individuals familiar with a project, in the wider business or arts communities.
