Purpose

The purpose of the Policy Development program is:

• To outline the key goals and objectives for the Department
  
• To review existing policies and programs and to identify emerging policy priorities
• To provide opportunities for Western Australian art sector and the broader community to inform decision making through an extensive consultation process
• To develop an overarching policy framework that articulates DCA values clearly and simply
• To provide a mechanism that aligns State and Departmental objectives in manner that allows for easy tracking and evaluation
