Policy Framework

The Development and Strategy Directorate (DSD) is in the process of creating a Policy Framework which is intended to clearly articulate DSD’s goals and objectives.

Central to the policy development process is consultation with the arts community.  This has been a two stage process with stage one involving a number of public presentations and discussion forums.  You can view podcasts of these forums as well as read the discussion papers on the Forum Summaries page.

Stage Two of Consultation

Stage two of the consultation process provides you with the opportunity to give us feedback on a number of policy questions which have emerged from the first stage of the consultation.  You can also read the proposed framework and tell us what you think. Please read the policy questions and proposed framework and email or write to us with your feedback.  Alternatively you can participate in a focus group (February 2nd, 3rd and 6th, 2009).  Places are limited so please contact us as soon as possible.

For further information about the DSD Policy Framework and the consultation process please contact Karin Burrill, Senior Research and Policy Officer at the Department of Culture and the Arts.
