Writer in Residence Program
The 2010 Writers-In-Residence program offered by the Fellowship of Australian Writers WA will provide residencies for established, emerging and young writers (under 25yrs) with the financial support, facilitation and writing space to develop or complete work(s) in progress. These are subject to successful negotiation of ArtsWA funding. Successful applicants are required to sign a contract of "Agreement and Terms of Conditions for Residency" prior to the commencement of any residency as set down by the selection panel and FAWWA Committee. Closing date for Expressions of Interest: 31st May 2009 Duration: The maximum duration of residency will be four weeks full time for established and emerging writers and two weeks full time for the young writers. Part-time / shorter residencies may be negotiated. Allowance: Young Writer - $1750.00 (AUD) Emerging Writer - $2500.00 (AUD) Established Writer - $3200.00 (AUD) For guidelines and submission form please go to www.fawwa.org.au
