The Awards celebrate transformation, renewal and growth of WA’s cultural life.

The 2007 Awards attracted 192 nominations and endorsements representing $7.5million in support of culture and arts in the State.

The Awards comprise six Prestige Partnership Awards celebrating diversity and innovation in business-arts partnerships and two Leadership Awards recognising individuals from the business and arts sector who have made an outstanding contribution to WA’s artistic or cultural life.

The $73million Ignite package, announced late last year, is the largest investment into culture and arts any WA government has made.

Nominations for the Western Australian Business and the Arts Awards close on Monday July 7, 2008.
