Quick Response
Quick Response applications are assessed by the Contemporary Music Panel.
Applications are to be submitted AT LEAST 6 weeks prior to the commencement of your activity (which is the day you fly out).
This program is designed to allow successful applicants to take up opportunities for which funding cannot be accessed through normal funding rounds and where the time frame is out of the control of the applicant. Applications for production of last minute film-clips for up to $5,000 will also be considered, in the event the artists / band is receiving high rotation on the airways.
Requests of up to $5,000 are considered for national activity and up to $10,000 for international activity. Applications must be accompanied by a separate, written statement explaining why the activity requires Quick response support and cannot wait until the regular funding rounds. Applications that do not include such a statement will not be assessed.
Note
Applications to the Quick Response Program are collated and assessed after the last Friday of each month. You will be notified no later than the second week of the following month. This may affect your project and is another good reason to make sure you discuss your application with the Contemporary Music Project Officer before submission.
Applicants can only receive one national or one flim–clip Quick Response Grant and one international Quick response Grant over a 12 month period.
