Short-Term Artist in Residence

Showcasing the pre-eminent art collection in Western Australia

Short-Term Artist in Residence

Organisations may apply for the costs of travel and artists fees for a minimum period of two weeks and a maximum period equal to six weeks full-time. The host organisation will cover the artist’s accommodation, materials and other expenses. Short-term artists residencies must be mutually beneficial for both the artist and host organisation. Artists may be working in any artform, other than film, television or radio.

Host organisations can include collecting organisations such as museums, galleries, libraries, historical societies, Indigenous cultural centres, language centres and keeping places, community organisations, not-for-profit organisations, private businesses, Local Government, and schools.

Where the applicant is a school, priority is given to schools with limited access to the arts.
