A Few New Words - Poetry Publishing Initiative
A Few New Words is designed to encourage new, short publications by emerging Western Australian poets. Established poets who are experimenting with a new direction are also encouraged to apply. Collaborations between poets and other artists or designers are encouraged, however collaborative projects must include a majority of WA practitioners. Publishing includes print publications and electronic media.
Proposals must be for activities that will assist in developing and enhancing your practice and increasing your profile. A Few New Words grants can assist with all costs related to the creation and distribution of the final work, excluding a fee for writing.
