Community Cultural and Arts Facilities Fund Panel

The CCAFF Panel has a mix of relevant expertise and diverse representation from the arts and cultural sector. This spans the various service organisations and cultural development agencies across the State.

A minimum of three and a maximum of four Community Cultural Consultants sit as part of the CCAFF Panel.  A diverse coverage of Western Australian arts and culture organisations are sought as representatives. All representatives of the CCAFF Panel possess specialist expertise in the development, funding program and service delivery for one or more artforms and/or cultural fields. They must also hold an informed opinion of broader community needs and the requirements of artistic and cultural development to ensure the needs of the broader community, special interest groups and regional applicants are met.

Appointed by the Minister for Culture and the Arts, the CCAFF Panel may consist of:

• Independent Chair                        
• Executive Officer: DCA CCAFF Officer (non voting) –    
• Community Cultural Consultant (up to four positions)                           
• regional and/or Indigenous representative
• DLGRD representative                    
• Lotterywest representative                  
• WALGA representative                    
• Museums Australia representative
• DCA Representative                        

The CCAFF Panel may, from time to time, require specific technical expertise and skills to assess a project. Professional advice is sought from consultants such as structural engineers, quantity surveyors, cost planners, heritage specialists or architects if needed for the assessment process.

Like the Arts Development panel each round has representatives that best suit the specific area of applications received.
