Laurel Nannup

Laurel is a Noongar Elder residing in Rossmoyne.  She has an Honours degree in Fine Arts from Curtin University with a number of awards for outstanding student of the year.  She is an accomplished print-maker, has had two solo exhibitions, and has participated in numerous group exhibitions.  She has also been commissioned for several major public arts projects.  Her solo exhibition toured in 2007 and was the first Indigenous solo artist to be toured through Art on the Move.   Her book, ‘A Story to Tell’, published by UWA Press in 2007, based on her experiences growing up is accompanied by her prints.
