Derek Nannup

Derek has ten years performance experience in circus, theatre, youth theatre and traditional music and dance.  Derek is the Associate Director of Yirra Yaakin Noongar Theatre and works with the community coordinating theatre workshop programs.   He has toured nationally and internationally with Yirra Yaakin productions.  Derek has stepped up to the position of Vice Chair for the Indigenous Arts Panel when the previous Vice Chair, Lorrae Coffin moved from Vice Chair to Chairperson in 2007.
