Helen Miraudo

Helen Miraudo has extensive experience in the Western Australian Designer Fashion industry beginning in the late 80’s as a design assistant to Morgan Marks and Angel Heart Clothing, a highly successful label and retail boutique in its time.  Helen returned to Perth after gaining valuable work experience in Japan where she worked with Beauty Beast Clothing label, assisting with the cutting and drafting of patterns. On her return she started her own successful label Lilli Stern finding time to increase her knowledge in Textile and Yarn Technology by studying part time at RMIT in Melbourne.   Recently Helen has combined her design talents with emerging designer Jill Crabb to create the fashion label United Constructions.  Describing the collaborative design ideas as a collection of contradiction, offering a balance of glamour, grunge and wit.  The design duo were shown for the first time at StyleAID 2006 and have launched their first Autumn/Winter collection at AFW Transeasonal shows in Melbourne.
