Catherine Hope

Cat, Bachelor of Music (Honours), has a remarkably broad range of musical skills, including performance experience as solo flautist in orchestras and ensembles.  Cat also has experience in performance art, bass guitar improvisation, composition for dance, theatre, film, radio, collaborative sound installation, audiovisual works, publicity and event coordination.  She currently runs her own record label,Bloodstar Records, and has successfully toured and released work internationally with many  groups including Gata Negra, Abe Sada and as a soloist.  She was also co-editor of new music e-zine Earwax and is now the runs the composition and music technology courses at WAAPA, ECU.
