Guy Ghouse

A combined 40 years of Music experience in WA as Guy's father has been a performer, teacher since the early 1970's. Guy has been a musician all his life, playing in Fitzroy Express and many other bands, including Gunada, who he performed with at the inaugural Stompem Ground Festival in 1992.   Guy has worked extensively with Indigenous artists and has a long history of employment as a teacher in rehabilitation and therapy through music.  Guy’s current award winning group, Desert Child, have toured the Australia Festival circuit and internationally, and he has produced numerous recordings of his work.  He has worked as a musical producer for television and as an artist manager and was instrumental in the development and implementation of the Bidyadanga Music Project in a remote community south of Broome. Currently producing the act "Guitar Heaven" with Simon fox and Milica Ilic getting ready for National and Canadian touring.
