Two out of five applications were supported to a total amount of $120,000. Total amount requested: $300,000

General comments
The panel were impressed by the standard of applications generally. The successful applicants had clear objectives for the Fellowship and well developed plans that would assist them to achieve their goals. The successful applications were also clearly within the intent of the Fellowship, in providing support for an intensive period of creative development rather than focus on a project or outcome.

FELICITY BOTT    $60,000
Ms Bott is a dancer and choreographer who has worked as an artistic director for over ten years. Her choreographic work has received six Helpmann Award nominations. During her three stage CDF program, the artist will develop and explore dance performance and video projection and the creation of a cyber studio/atelier. The artist’s work has a strong academic focus and she will be working with some mentors and collaborators, with skills across a range of disciplines.

FELICITY PETERS    $60,000
Ms Peters is a senior WA Jeweller with an international reputation. The Fellowship will allow the applicant to develop her practice by studying a 3D Jewellery CAD program and undertaking an 18ct Gold granulation workshop with a Master Goldsmith in San Francisco.
