City of Bunbury Approved $15,000
Development of a feasibility study to provide a strategic and coordinated approach to future redevelopment and expansion of the Bunbury Regional Art Galleries (BRAG) to ensure the long term viability of the category ‘A’ exhibition venue, including adequate storage facilities and space for permanent display of the City’s art collection.
City of Wanneroo Approved $21,080
Fit-out of the Regional Museum and Exhibition Centre within the Wanneroo Library and Cultural Centre. The Fit-out will include an exhibition lighting system and art storage racks to ensure access to touring exhibitions from local, national and international sources, as well as regular exhibitions of the City’s art collection.
Shire of Gnowangerup Approved $49,000
Stage three of the restoration and upgrade of the Gnowangerup Heritage Centre to showcase Noongar cultural heritage through artistic and interpretive displays. The fit-out will include display panels, hanging systems, display cabinets, exhibition lighting, and storage racks. (Auspiced grant for the Gnowangerup Aboriginal Corporation)
Shire of Mundaring Approved $186,923
Construction of the Swan View Youth Centre. The new facility will include dedicated areas for performance, creative workspaces (including a wet area) and exhibition spaces to increase community engagement and participation in culture and the arts.
Town of Kwinana Approved $176,117
Construction of the Kwinana Youth Centre. The new facility will offer local youth and the wider community access to cultural and arts activities such as multimedia, visual arts, music training, recording and performance opportunities. The fixed equipment to be installed includes a stage, lighting and PA, lock up storage cupboards and fixed sound recording equipment.
