A number of other organisations manage the allocation and distribution of DCA funding on behalf of, or in partnership with, DCA. Check with each managing organisation for closing dates and guidelines.

Catalyst Community Arts Fund

Managing body: Community Arts Network WA

The Catalyst Community Arts Fund supports projects that:

  • facilitate and support WA community-determined arts and culture activities that express local culture and identity, and
  • promote the values of community empowerment, social inclusion, respect for diversity and self-determination.

Creative Networks Regional Local Government Fund

Managing body: Community Arts Network WA

The Creative Networks Regional Local Government Fund is designed to support local regional government authorities to develop their capacity to use art and culture to improve the lives of their citizens. Grants provide skills development, mentoring and networking with intensive training over a period of 8 to 10 months, and an ongoing connection to CANWA and like-minded local government authorities for three years.

The Creative Networks Regional Local Government Fund has one funding round per year.


Louder! Contemporary Music Touring Program

The Country Arts WA Louder! Program provides funding for organisations to encourage the development of original contemporary music in regional WA.


Shows On The Go

Managing body: Country Arts WA

Shows On The Go tours professional performing arts productions into regional Western Australian communities. Country Arts WA undertakes all the coordination, runs a comprehensive promotional campaign and funds the touring costs.


Country Arts WA Annual Funding Program

Annual Funding

Community-based arts organisations can apply for core operational funding to cover the costs associated with their annual program of events. Applicants must be conducting a year-long, multi-art form program that includes a broad cross-section of their community.


WA Premier's Arts Partenership Fund

Other funding partner: Mirvac WA

The WA Premier's Arts Partnership Fund makes it easy for small-to-medium businesses to partner with the arts by matching their financial commitment - effectively doubling the value of the partnership. Individual artists can apply for up to $5,000 per year in matched funds, and non-profit organisations up to $10,000.
