Quick Response Program

Funding Caps

$5,000 - National Tours

$5,000 - International Tours for Less Than Four People

$10,000 - International Tours for More Than Four People

$5,000 - Film Clip

This category supports applicants to respond to short notice, out-of-round, career-building opportunities, where the time frame is out of the applicant’s control.

Applications must clearly demonstrate how the opportunity will develop the applicant’s career and why it is particularly timely. The Panel will not support activity that could have been submitted to a regular funding round.

Eligible activities may include:

  • Performances, festivals and events nationally and internationally
  • Support slots for larger touring bands
  • Performances at industry showcases and events
  • Production of strategic film clip/s.

NOTE: Applications to the Quick Response Program category are collated and assessed after the last Friday of each month. You will be notified no later than the second week of the following month. This may affect your project and is another good reason to make sure you discuss your application with the Contemporary Music Project Officer before submission.

All applications to attend South by Southwest will be assessed in the January Quick Response round.
