Funding Caps:

$10,000 for full length albums

$5,000 for EPs (four or more songs)


This category is for projects involving the production of recorded product for public consumption.

To be successful in the production category, applicants should demonstrate that the recording has exceptional promise and is particularly timely for the artist or band.

The applicant will need to demonstrate the viability of the recording, potential markets for the recorded product and what strategic support has been put in place to support the recording.

Please note the start date of production commences from the beginning of the recording process and ends with the launch of the product.

Eligible applications must include details about all parts of the recording project, such as:

  • Recording
  • Production
  • Mixing and mastering
  • Design work and printing
  • Pressing, remixing or re-mastering of existing product
  • Marketing activities associated with the initial release of the recording.

Applications must detail the copyright status of the material to be recorded and also clearly outline who will own the copyright of the sound recording. Details of any proposed licensing agreements for the recording should be included.
