Playhouse Theatre
The Playhouse Theatre is a 427 seat traditional proscenium arch theatre with a raked auditorium. The theatre is suitable for a variety of events and is principally used for drama, contemporary dance and comedy.
The theatre opened in 1956, is owned by the Perth Anglican Archdiocese and has been leased to the Perth Theatre Trust since 1984. Perth Theatre Company is The Playhouse Theatre’s resident company. A BOCS Ticketing outlet is located on the ground floor in the foyer.
The day to day operations of The Playhouse Theatre are managed by the external service provider, AEG Ogden (Perth).
