A Summary of Accessibility
The Subiaco Theatre Centre at 180 Hamersley Road in Subiaco provides good access for people who use a wheelchair. Staff will greet patrons upon their arrival and provide assistance to move to seats and access the bar as required. An accessible toilet facility is available.
There are up to six (6) wheelchair accessible seating positions at the front left hand side of the theatre, level with the stage. The main limitation with this venue is that access to these positions is not possible via the main theatre entry. Entry is via the soundlock doors at the rear of the theatre.
There are 3 accessible parking bays in the City of Subiaco parking station. The path from these bays leads to a ramp which provides direct access to the main auditorium level.

There is a bus stop on Hamersley Road (Bus 25 on St Georges Terrace or Bus 26 from Wellington St Bus Station. There is not a CAT bus to this venue.
The nearest train stations are Subiaco and Daglish, which are 10-20 minutes away.
There is a set down / pick up point at the main entrance suitable for cars, taxis. The maximum height clearance is 2250mm.
Parking
There are 3 accessible parking bays. The bays are wide and even. The bays are identified by the International Symbol of Access. The car park is located Bagot Road and Hamersley Road.
People using these bays must display a current ACROD parking permit.
There is no charge for parking after 6.00 pm. There is a 10c per six minute charge at all other times to a maximum of $3.00.

Approach to the Building
The path from the accessible parking bay, to the front door is wide and even, and approximately 40 - 50 metres long. The pathway is lit for night use.

The path from the set-down area to the front door is wide and even, and is directly in front of the main entrance. The pathway is lit for night use.
There is a lift that takes you from the main entrance on ground level to the main auditorium on the first floor. Wheelchair User Patrons can also access the venue by the ramp at the Bagot Road end of the venue.
Signage to the building is not clear and is difficult to read at night.
Main Entrance
There are 18 steps at the main entrance however, the main entrance can be accessed by a long ramp. The ramp is clearly visible and there is a map at the main entrance indicating it's location. Please note that the ramp is not covered from the weather.
The box office foyer is wheelchair accessible. The box officer counter is not wheelchair accessible, but assistance is available.

There is sufficient circulation space to move through all essential areas of this facility.

There is a lift available. Access to all floors is possible.
Theatre Areas
Access from the foyer to the main theatre is not via the main public thoroughfare but rather via the soundlock doors to the designated seating. Patrons will be assisted to this area by staff members.

Seats in the theatre are medium backed and have arms.
Rows and seating numbers are located on the floor in front of seats and are generally clear to read and ushers are available to assist patrons to their seats.
Emergency Exits are not accessible. All staff are trained in emergency procedures.
Pricing
Audio loop seating is not available. Price for an attendant is normal price.
