Designer Fashion Interim Review 2004 – 2006
In August 2004 the State Government launched a two-year Designer Fashion Grants Program providing funding of $500,000 allocated to project grants in the categories of Marketing, Business Development, Partnerships for Skills and monthly R&D travel grants. The DCA conducted the Interim Review basing the results on data collected during rounds one to six of the Designer Fashion Grants Program, from the acquittal reports submitted for grants received.
The report shows an early indication that the Designer Fashion Grants Program has provided significant short term economic benefits to the Western Australian fashion sector.
