Country Arts WA's Project Fund

Country Arts WA’s Project Fund is open now, offering up to $15,000 for individuals, or $30,000 for organisations to turn their community arts ideas into a reality.

The Project Fund is designed to benefit regional and remote artists, arts workers, audiences and communities by supporting and promoting participation in, and access to, art and culture.

Applications close midnight 16 March 2018.

2018 City of Fremantle T.A.G. Hungerford Award

2018 City of Fremantle T.A.G. Hungerford Award

Submissions to the City of Fremantle T.A.G. Hungerford Award for an unpublished manuscript will open on Friday 2 February. The Award offers a cash prize of $12,000 from the City of Fremantle and a publishing contract with Fremantle Press. 

For help prepare your manuscript for submission, a workshop will be held with author and editor Deb Fitzpatrick from 6:30pm - 8:00pm on Wednesday 6 February. The cost is $25 and bookings can be made by calling (08) 9432 9999 or email curious@fremantle.wa.gov.au.

New feature film in WA's South West

Western Australia’s South West region will be the backdrop for new family feature film, GO KARTS. Screenwest and Screen Australia recently announced production investment for the film, which will be produced by See Pictures. 

GO KARTS tells the story of a boy who must overcome tremendous odds and his own recklessness to achieve his dream of winning the Australian Go Kart Championship.

The next round of Australia Council for the Arts Grants Programs are open now. Applications close 6 February for projects starting after 1 May 2018.

The City of Perth offer Arts Grants that support a broad variety of art forms and creative cultural practice including performance seasons, arts industry events, exhibitions, festivals, film, photography, multi-disciplinary and community arts projects. They are available to a wide range of applicants for projects in the City of Perth local government area.

Applications for the next round of Arts Grants are open now, and will close on Tuesday 13 February 2018.
