DCA has been involved in the research and analysis of Perth’s Creative Industries.

The economic, social, and cultural contributions of these industries are essential elements of an advanced and thriving society.

They are vital in determining the identity of a city or region, retaining talent and providing positive, substantial benefits to other industry sectors.

The Department of Culture and the Arts supports the creative industries through our existing Contemporary Music and Designer Fashion Programs, and through ongoing research and policy support.
